Full job description

Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West, based just outside of Westfield, Radstock. Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Four On Four Off Warehouse Operative to join our friendly and dynamic team.

PLEASE NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FORKLIFT LICENCE OR WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE

Key Responsibilities:

Take part in the day-to-day operation of our warehouses and storage facilities
Taking delivery of goods for storage
Checking for damaged or missing items
Moving stock by hand or with machines
De-stuffing containers
Loading / unloading trailers either for deliveries or collections
Cleaning the warehouse

Key Competencies:

Proven experience in a warehouse setting
Able to work as part of a team and alone
Capability to report correct information to colleagues
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have forklift licence (in-house certificates accepted)
Bendi Licence an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

Benefits:

In return, you will receive a very competitive salary plus monthly performance bonus (pro rata)
20 days holiday per year
After 2 year’s unbroken service employees will receive an additional day’s holiday which will increase by an extra day after each additional full years’ service up to 5 years pro rata
After 2 years continuous service you will receive an annual loyalty bonus
Full uniform and PPE supplied

Accidental Death in Service Cover

Additional Details:

Hours of work 06:00 – 18:00 – (12 hour shift over 4 days – 48 hours)
Immediate start required
