Brand & Marketing Manager (Maternity cover) Part-time, fixed-term contract

The Role

We are looking for a Brand & Marketing Coordinator to join the Electric Bear team on a maternity cover basis.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for maintaining and developing our brand, marketing activity and communications while working closely with the Head Brewer, Graphic Designer, and wider brewery team.

You will take ownership of our brand and marketing activity, leading creative projects, coordinating beer launches and bringing our beers and stories to life across every customer touchpoint.

This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving brewery where no two days are the same. You will need to be organised, creative and confident managing multiple projects, working with different teams and taking ownership of your work from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the Electric Bear brand, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Manage and deliver marketing campaigns, customer communications and brand activity.
Lead creative projects, working closely with our Graphic Designer and wider brewery team.
Coordinate the successful delivery of new beer launches, seasonal campaigns and brand projects.
Create engaging content across digital, print and social media channels.
Manage website content, email marketing and other customer-facing platforms.
Collaborate with production, sales and Taproom teams to bring our beers and stories to life.
Help develop and grow the Electric Bear brand while maintaining our distinctive tone of voice.

Who You Are

You are someone who loves building brands and telling stories. You enjoy working in a creative environment, but you’re also organised enough to make sure projects get delivered.

You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and collaborating with different teams across the business.

As this is a maternity cover role, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly understand our brand, ways of working and priorities, and confidently take ownership of key areas of activity.

You’ll be someone who:

Takes ownership and gets things done
Has excellent attention to detail
Can balance creativity with organisation
Enjoys working across lots of different projects
Is confident communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
Has a genuine interest in brands, storytelling and great products

Requirements

Experience in a brand, marketing or communications role
Experience managing creative projects and working with designers
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience working independently and taking responsibility for projects
Experience in craft beer, hospitality, food & drink or a similar industry would be beneficial, but isn’t essential

The Package

3 days per week
Fixed-term maternity cover contract (9 months)
Salary £30,000-£33,000 (pro rata), dependent on experience
Pro-rata annual leave plus bank holidays
