Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Llantrisant, RCT
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Role
Hours: 8am – 4pm (Flexibility is required)
Pay: £13.50ph paid weekly
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day operation on the shop floor. This is a fast-paced, practical role where you’ll lead from the front—keeping stock accurate, ensuring pick lists are completed on time, and making sure materials flow smoothly to production.

What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support warehouse operatives during shifts
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day direction
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and safety
Stock Control & ERP
- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels using the ERP system
- Monitor stock and proactively flag shortages or issues
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly
- Carry out regular stock counts and ensure system accuracy
Pick Lists & Material Supply
- Ensure all pick lists are completed accurately and on schedule
- Oversee picking, checking, and delivery of materials
- Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed
- Work closely with production and planning teams
Standards & Compliance
- Follow and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO) and full traceability
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or Stock Control role (food manufacturing experience preferred)
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Experience using an ERP system for stock management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset—someone who takes ownership and keeps things moving
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
