Due to the continued success of our practice, we have an opportunity for a Private Client Fee-Earner in our Hayle office. This is an interesting role working with a variety of clients and advising mainly on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate matters, together with all other elements of private client work. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own caseload, provide clear and practical advice, and deliver a warm, professional and personal service to both new and existing clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Managing a varied private client caseload.
· Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters.
· Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
· Dealing with probate and estate administration matters.
· Advising on trusts, inheritance tax and related private client issues where appropriate.
· Meeting with clients and taking instructions in a professional, approachable and sensitive manner.
· Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
· Working with colleagues across the firm where required.
· Any other duties asked for by the firm when necessary.
The successful Private Client Fee-Earner will possess:
· Experience in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate and estate administration.
· A good working knowledge of private client law and procedure.
· The ability to manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
· Excellent communication and client care skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
· A calm, professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
· Candidates must be positive, friendly and must understand the importance of confidentiality, be organised and a team player.
· Full UK Driving Licence desirable.
