We are looking to build a team of Therapeutic Support Workers who have experience working with behaviours that challenge and/or physically challenging behaviour. Skill set, resilience and physical challenges, i.e behaviour that challenges physical aggression, Support Workers may be required to perform RPI -Restrictive Physical Intervention as a last resort to keep themselves and others safe. Full training will be provided.
The pay for all support hours will be £14.20 per hour from 1st April. All other supports and training will be paid at £13.45 per hour from 1st April.

About you……..
Essential:
- Experience of behaviours that challenge and/or physically challenging behaviour
- Be of a caring and empathetic nature
- Be able to drive a manual car and have access to a vehicle for work
- Be able to support with intimate personal care
- Be able to work on a rota basis, including, weekends and Bank Holidays
- Be able to do sleep-in’s on a rota basis (where required)
- Be prepared to support people away on holiday if required
- Ability to use basic IT systems, for care logging purposes
- English Speaking
Desirable but not essential, because we will support you and train you………
- Minimum of one years experience in care
- Previous experience within the health and social care sector
- NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Care Certificate
