Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled hook loader / Roll on roll off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering excellent service in a timely manner to various locations. This role requires the ability to operate an 32t modern, well maintained hook loader. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Two full time positions are Available - working hours are 6am - 4pm with additional overtime every other Saturday 7am - 1pm if desired

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) preferably with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a RORO driver or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Good physical fitness and ability for prolonged periods of driving.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
