About The Role and You

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 2 to 4 years. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that supports children’s learning and development.

This is a zero hours contract, offering flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, supporting the Nursery team during busy periods, staff absence, or additional operational requirements.

Contract Type: Full Time, All Year

Salary: £13.48 per hour

Start date: July 2026

About You : We are looking for someone who:

Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Level 3 qualification in Childcare
Has previous experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting
Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to varying working hours
Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children

You will also be able to:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
Promote children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education
