Duties
- Deliver professional barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming treatments tailored to client preferences

- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery and client satisfaction
- Build and retain a loyal client base through personalised service and effective communication
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
- Handle cash or electronic payments securely and maintain accurate records of transactions
Experience
- Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of hair styling work
- Demonstrable customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Knowledge of current hair styling trends and grooming products
- Previous experience working independently as a self-employed professional is advantageous but not essential; willingness to develop business management skills is required
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Valid barbering qualifications or certifications recognised within the industry are preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by substantial practical experience
