An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre finance professional to join the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will jointly lead on the production of the monthly Finance Monitoring Pack, the production of the Statutory Annual Accounts and providing technical accountancy advice in line with the Code of practice on local authority accounting (CIPFA code) and other relevant legislation to the Health and Social Care Partnership. This will include fulfilling the statutory fiscal obligations of the Integration Joint Board (IJB).
The post holder will assist the Finance Manager in contributing to and supporting the emerging portfolio of innovative transformation projects across health and social care. They will also assist the Finance Manager in the development and finalisation of the IJB Financial Plan, including provision of senior finance support to the Senior Management Team.
The post holder will support the Finance Team to deliver monthly and annual financial reporting at both partnership and IJB level. The post holder will also be responsible for the direct line management of a Senior Finance Officer.
The post holder will also be responsible for timely provision of high quality financial and performance information. This will require demonstrable evidence of ability to work effectively with a wide range of executives, operational managers, professional leaders and with finance teams in NHS Tayside and Perth & Kinross Council.

We seek a candidate with significant finance and team management experience, strong leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills to be able to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and influence at all levels of the organisation.
You will be able to interpret complex information to deliver key insights and continuous improvement to processes.
You will be educated to Degree Level, a fully qualified accountant and current member of a recognised CCAB (e.g CIPFA/ACCA – or CIMA) accountancy body.
Strong analytical skills and post-qualification experience in a large and complex organisation are also required.
