Full job description

Thank you for your interest in working with Dingbro Ltd. We are the largest independent Motor Factor in the UK with over 1500 valued employees working in over 30 branches throughout Scotland and North West England. Dingbro is a family owned and run business with our head office in Aberdeen. We supply vehicle parts to independent Garages, Fast Fits, Franchise Dealers, CV Workshops, Local Authorities and the Emergency Services.

Dingbro also has specialist departments in Vehicle Refinish, Industrial Coatings, Retail & Diagnostic Equipment. We are a Trade Only Distributor.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative/Picker for our busy Perth Branch, previous experience is not essential for the position as training will be given. Driving Licence is essential as will be required to do some van deliveries occasionally to cover holidays etc. Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with alternative Saturday mornings 8am- 12.30pm. Salary depending on experience discussed at interview.

Responsibilities:

Duties are picking orders accurately from picking lines and converting to advice notes using computer system and allocating the parts to the correct van delivery point. Assisting with all other required needs of the warehouse and operations and as part of the team maintain a safe, clean, tidy and well organised department.

Essential Skills:

Attention to detail.

Excellent Team Player.

Efficient computer skills is essential.

Ability to work from own initiative.

Strong reading and numeracy skills.

Able and willing to perform repetitive manual handling on a daily basis.
