About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical and data-driven Digital Advertising Assistant to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis until the end of September.
This role is focused strictly on the technical execution, management, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads.
You will not be required to create the ad content or creative assets—our internal team will provide all the copy and imagery. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure these assets are deployed effectively to reach the right audience, maximize ROI, and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Execution: Build, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads using provided creative content.
Audience Targeting & Optimization: Implement advanced targeting strategies, conduct A/B testing on audiences, and continuously optimize campaigns for performance and cost-efficiency.
Budget Management: Monitor daily ad spend, adjust bids, and ensure budgets are utilized effectively to achieve campaign objectives.
Tracking & Analytics: Ensure proper tracking is in place (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, conversion tracking) to accurately measure campaign success.
Reporting & Insights: Generate regular, clear reports on key performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
Collaboration: Attend occasional in-person meetings in Ely to discuss strategy, review performance, and align with the creative team.
Requirements: Proven Experience: Demonstrable, hands-on experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of ad platform interfaces, tracking pixels, conversion events, and analytics tools.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve ROI.
Location: Must reside locally to Ely, Cambridgeshire, to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Work Style: Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently from home for the majority of the time.
Availability: Must be able to commit to 8 hours per week until the end of September.
