Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding.
- Fabricate metal components according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on welded and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production targets.
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication involving sheet metal and the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings is essential.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
Pay: £12.30-£15.00 per hour
