About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Procurement Team at IPL Whittlesey!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Advisor - Planning to become a vital part of our Planning Team at our House Plants & Flowers facility in Whittlesey. If you are commercially passionate and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 4:45pm
• Location: IPL Whittlesey - Site Based Role
• Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include:

Manage the Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) to maintain correct stocks levels in line with the degradation targets set by the business unit for the relevant time of year

To effectively plan and manage the stock ordering process for a seasonal lines within an HP&F business unit

Maintain the Lorry Board for Inbound Raw Materials

Liaise with the Asda Supply Analyst on current rate of sale vs the collaborative plan and react accordingly to maintain correct stock levels as set by the business unit

Downloading forecasts provided and uploading to PR3. Analysis of forecasts to provide feedback to the business.

BOM creation for all jobs in the system working from specs provided.

What are we looking for?

Previous operational planning experience ideally a fast paced environment (Desirable)
Strong skills through experience of working in an analytical role (planning or similar)
Microsoft Office Excel and use of various in house systems
Good all round education including Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent)
Able to communicate and work with individuals at all levels of the business including external contacts
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise & multi-task
Self-motivated and able to work well as part of a team
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system experience (Desirable)
