Full job description

Job title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: March, Cambridgeshire

Contract: 40-hours per week (on a rolling rota basis)

Salary: £32,423 - £33,923 (dependent on experience) + £55 per sleep in shift

Juventas is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to assist in the running of our Registered Children’s Home based in March, Cambridgeshire.

The role

Juventas cares for looked-after children in residential and semi-independent supported accommodation so they can live a positive and meaningful life as they approach adulthood.

We’re now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team.

As Senior Residential Support Worker you’ll be:

Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation
Responding to any childcare concerns appropriately
Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture in the home is well maintained
Working effectively and co-ordinating with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies

The ideal candidate

You’ll have:

A UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home
A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (for the right candidate we are willing to offer training pathways to this qualification)
