About Crowdsafe UK
Crowdsafe UK Ltd is an SIA Approved Contractor providing professional security and crowd management services across the UK’s events and venues sector. Our clients include major stadiums and household-name venues, and we’re known for the quality, reliability, and professionalism of our teams.
We’re growing — and we’re looking for a creative, commercially minded marketer to own our brand presence, tell our story, and help bring new business through the door.
The Role
This is a blended marketing and business development role, reporting directly to senior leadership. You’ll be the person who makes Crowdsafe look and sound as good as the service we deliver — across social media, video, printed collateral, and sales materials — while also helping generate and qualify new leads for the business.
You’ll work closely with operations, senior management, and occasionally on-site at events. It’s varied, hands-on, and ideal for someone who wants real ownership of a function rather than being one small cog in a big marketing team.
Rough split: approximately 70% marketing & content, 30% business development & lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Brand
- Own and manage all Crowdsafe social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok where relevant)
- Plan and deliver a consistent content calendar that reflects our brand, values, and live operations
- Maintain and evolve visual brand identity across all touchpoints
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and report on performance
Content & Video Production
- Produce promotional videos showcasing our services, teams, and client events (filming on-site where appropriate, editing, and publishing)
- Write clear, engaging copy for web, social, email, and print
- Capture and curate photography from live events (or commission as needed)
Sales Collateral
- Design and maintain slide decks, brochures, and service one-pagers for each of our service lines (event stewarding, SIA door supervision, crowd management, venue security, etc.)
- Support senior management with pitch decks, tender/bid visuals, and presentation materials
- Keep all client-facing materials current, accurate, and on-brand
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Research and build a pipeline of target clients — event organisers, venues, councils, promoters, and corporate end users
- Run targeted outbound outreach (LinkedIn, email, follow-ups) to generate warm introductions for senior management
- Identify relevant tender and procurement opportunities and flag them to the team
- Maintain a simple CRM — track conversations, chase follow-ups, and report on pipeline activity
- Attend occasional industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities on behalf of the business
About You
Essential
- 2–5 years’ experience in a marketing, content, or marketing/BD blended role
- Proven track record managing social media channels for a business (not just personal)
- Confident producing and editing video content — comfortable with tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
- Strong design eye — able to build clean, professional decks and brochures (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written English and a sharp copywriting instinct
- Self-starter — comfortable owning a function, managing your own workload, and working with minimal supervision
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites and events occasionally
Desirable
- Experience in the events, security, hospitality, or sports industries
- Familiarity with B2B lead generation tools.
- Experience with public sector procurement portals or tender processes
- Photography skills
- Basic web/CMS experience.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
- Performance-related bonus tied to lead generation and new business won
- Flexible working — mix of office, remote, and on-site at events
- 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays
- Pension contributions
- Genuine autonomy to shape and grow the marketing function
- Exposure to high-profile UK events and venues
- Clear progression path as the business and function grow
