Position: Production Assembly Operative - Night Shift
Reports to: Production Manager
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 16:15 - 12:15 (Training will be completed during the day shift 07:45 - 16:00 Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 14:45 Friday - for 3 consecutive weeks before moving to the night shift)

Job Description
Your main role will be to carry out the safe and accurate assembly of pyrotechnic products. You will be responsible for following all company rules, quality standards and safety guidelines to ensure products are built correctly and the production area runs smoothly and safely.
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday : 16:15 - 12:15
- Paid break: 18:30-18:45
- Unpaid dinner: 21:30 - 22:00
Main Duties
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Use hand tools to assemble small and delicate components.
- After training, work at a normal production speed based on factory timings.
- Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and safe.
- Follow all Health & Safety rules.
- Use basic maths (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages).
- Carry out repetitive tasks with focus and care.
- Sit, stand and reach comfortably during the day.
- Use your hands and fingers to work with small parts and precision tools.
- React quickly to visual and sound safety warnings.
Other Tasks
From time to time you may help with:
- Cleaning magazines
- Stock taking
- Assisting with mixing powders (under supervision)
- Other tasks needed for production
Who We’re Looking For
(These are desirable, not always required)
- 1–2 years of assembly or production experience
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or working with chemicals
- Able to read and understand instructions in English
- Good communication skills
- Good hand–eye coordination and dexterity
- Able to work with small and delicate items
