Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team. Minimum 3 years prior experience with automotive painting. Successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles. working on cars from modern accident repairs to full classic restorations with the odd show winning vehicle. Duties
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as necessary
- Mix paints and colour matching to achieve the desired finish
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint evenly across vehicle surfaces
- Ensure all paintwork meets quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with the maintenance of spray equipment and tools
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle bodywork and paint systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials safely
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and finish quality
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to automotive painting environments
Candidates should be organised, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship. Previous experience with automotive repairs or bodywork will be considered an advantage.
Pay: From £18.00 per hour
