EXPERIENCED BUTCHER
Permanent
£12.71 to £13.50 per hour dependent on experience
43 hours per week
Working week- Tuesday to Saturday
Location- Kettering
We seek a keen and enthusiastic butcher with the following skill set.
Good knife skills with raw and cooked meats including pastry products, breaking and boning of whole carcasses, manufacture of sausages, burgers and other products, training will be provided
Have a genuine interest in butchery and cooked products
A passion for good food and cooking
Willingness to train in cooked products e.g. making pastry and pies
An excellent work ethic
Team player
Able to be flexible to task requirements including working in the Deli side of the shop
Knowledge of HACCP, it's principals and record keeping
Follows all instructions including those relating to health and safety and the wearing of PPE
Excellent communication skills including banter with customers
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent time keeping
Reliable, honest
Wants to develop and aspire to become a manager earning potentially £16.00 per hr
GCSE English and Maths or equivalent are desirable
Some tasks require a substantial amount of physical ability
