Job Title: Furniture Assembler

Quarry Farm Industrial Estate, Ketton Road, Stamford, PE9 3UT

Job Type:

Full-time | Permanent

Salary:

£12.71 - £15.50 Per Hour

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 7:30am – 16:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will assemble flat-pack furniture, primarily for educational environments.

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Assemble flat-pack MDF furniture to company specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret assembly instructions
Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
Report damaged or faulty components
Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in furniture assembly or manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
Strong practical skills and good attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Physically fit and capable of moving components safely.
