Castleton Farm is looking for a detail-focused and reliable Line QC (Quality Control) to join our busy soft fruit packhouse team.
This role is key to ensuring our fruit is packed to the highest standards, meeting both customer specifications and food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring fruit quality on packing lines to ensure it meets required standards
Checking pack weights, labelling, and presentation
Identifying and reporting any quality issues promptly
Working closely with production and machine operators to maintain consistency
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in a QC or quality-focused role, ideally within a food production or packhouse environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
