Full job description

Job Summary
The Fulfilment Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire fulfilment process within the organisation, ensuring efficient operations from order receipt to delivery. This role requires a strategic mindset to optimise logistics and supply chain processes while managing a team effectively. The Fulfilment Manager will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Oversee daily fulfilment operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
Manage and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency.
Implement and monitor profit & loss strategies to enhance financial performance.
Utilise transportation management systems and warehouse management systems to streamline operations.
Conduct regular assessments of logistics processes for opportunities in process improvement.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective ERP systems management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovative ideas and practices.
Operate forklifts as necessary, ensuring all staff are trained in safe handling procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising teams within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of profit & loss management principles.
Familiarity with transportation management systems and 3PL operations.
Proficient in ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
Experience with shipping & receiving protocols and practices.
Background in continuous improvement methodologies, with a focus on efficiency gains.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory if willing to train.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of fulfilment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,200.00 per year
