Full job description

E-Commerce Operations Assistant

Job Type: Full Time/ Permanent

Annual Salary: £26,500

Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 (17:00 on Fridays)

Work Location: In Person (Amesbury, Salisbury)

Who we are looking for:

Essential Qualities –

· Excellent Writing ability

· Good communications skills

· Good telephone manner

· Organisational skills

· A decent knowledge of or interest in computers and the internet

· Reliability

· Hard working and ability to work on tasks independently

Preferred Experience –

· Experience working in an office or warehouse setting

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

As we work with security and government departments, you would need to be able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check.

About Us:

Since 1999, Interconnective Security Products have been at the forefront of security equipment in the UK. Our clients include the largest security countries in the world as well as individual security professionals, the police, local government, universities, prisons, airports and more.

Our products include patrol systems, stab vests, body cameras, knife arches, search mirror, torches and a wide range of other security equipment.

The Role:

This role will see the successful candidate involved in the core functions of our Ecommerce business including Orders & Dispatch, Admin & Promotion as well as Customer Service. It is a varied role that will give the candidate an introduction to facets of our business. For unexperienced candidates, full training will be given.

Orders and Dispatch –

· Processing orders from various platforms and clients

· Packaging products for dispatch

· Collecting products from the warehouse based on incoming orders

· Preparing shipping labels for website, Amazon, Ebay and B2B orders

· Some minor testing of products before despatch (turn on/off etc)

· Follow up on deliveries if there are issues with the dispatch.

Ecommerce Administration & Promotion –

· Writing product listings for our websites/ Amazon/ Ebay etc

· Take product photos in our studio

· Do image touching up on product photos using vector software

· Assist with social media accounts (linkedin/facebook/Youtube) and generating content for them.

Customer Service Function –

· Answering the phone when customers call in.

· Answering basic questions if a specialist is not available.

· Limited support for products that the candidate is familiar with and specialist is not available

· Answering and replying to emails and queries

· Preparing quotations for clients if necessary
