Sales Assistant (Office-Based Role)

Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Type: Full-time, Permanent

At IF we design and manufacture original and rather clever gift ranges and distribute them to the best gift, book, and stationery retailers throughout the world. Our products are well designed and appeal to customers of all genders and ages - from 5 to 95! And as we’ve been doing this for over 30 years, we like to think that we know what our customers need. We are now looking for a motivated and organized Sales Assistant to join our friendly office team in Pickering.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to the Sales function within IF.
Assist with sales administration of existing house accounts to maintain strong relationships.
Create customer-facing documents such as planograms, product presentations and configuration spreadsheets.
Respond promptly to customer emails.
Carry out other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong IT literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Experience with Sage 200 and Sage CRM would be advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail.
Prior experience working with planograms or retail layouts is desirable
Ability to reliably commute to Pickering, North Yorkshire.
