This role involves providing exceptional customer service and delivering expert hair styling and barbering services in a welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients receive personalised attention, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation, and fostering a positive experience for all visitors. Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
Provide customised hair styling and barbering services according to client preferences and current trends
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station, adhering to health and safety regulations
Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and offer expert advice on styles, cuts, colours, and treatments
Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
Uphold high standards of hygiene, including sanitising tools and work areas between clients
Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and build a loyal customer base
Stay informed about the latest hair styling techniques, products, and industry developments

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Proven experience in hair styling and barbering, with a good understanding of current trends
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments efficiently
Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine passion for hairstyling and client satisfaction
Knowledge of health and safety standards within a salon environment
