Join South Devon College and play a key role in inspiring the next generation of football talent while supporting a dynamic learning environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inclusive individual to support student learning within our Football Academy, coaching sessions alongside our Lead Coach, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and ensuring equipment and facilities are well managed and fit for purpose. This varied and hands-on role involves assisting with sports programmes, fixtures, and enrichment activities both on and off site, while building strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners. We are seeking a qualified and proactive individual with a degree in Sport (or similar), relevant National Governing Body qualifications, and a current First Aid certificate. You will have experience delivering and assessing sports sessions, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to maintain equipment and facilities. Excellent IT skills, including Excel, are essential, along with the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and remain flexible to support evening and weekend work in a fast-paced environment.

A South Devon College Apprenticeship lasts 12 OR 18 months, during which time you will earn and learn with practical on-the-job-training, gaining real experience, with real responsibilities to allow you to develop your skills and talents - but don’t worry our experienced team will be on hand to support you all the way.
