Warehouse Goods In Team Leader (BALLINLUIG SITE)
We have a fantastic opportunity at The House of Bruar for a Mail Order Dispatch supervior at our Ballinluig Warehouse site.
The successful candidate will primarily be overseeing and leading the Warehouse Mail Order dispatch team. On occasion there will be an expectation to perform stand in duties in other areas of the warehouse. The candidate will preferably have a background in warehouse operations, as we are looking for someone to innovate to improve performance and efficiency of the department. Our Ballinluig Warehouse is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth, so this role is ideal for someone looking for a long term career. May be occasional weekend working as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the warehouse mail order department.
- Oversee the process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all stock deliveries against set business KPIs/ metric requirements.
- Supervise and coach department staff to ensure sustained high levels of department performance.
- Collaborate with couriers to coordinate orderly and accurate stock deliveries from site.
- Implement safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to develop process improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensuring day to day reports and tasks are completed to optimise efficiency and smooth operations.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels for department consumables.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in a supervisory or mail order role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
