Offering holiday home ownership, lodge and caravan holiday accommodation and touring, Faskally Woods is set on the outskirts of beautiful Pitlochry with Bar, Bistro and Pool facilities. We also have opportunities based at our Blairgowrie Holiday Park on the outskirts of the town.
Job Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Maintenance and Projects Technician to join our team at Faskally Woods Holiday Park (PH16 5LD) at Wood Leisure. In this role, you will be responsible for siting, connection and commissioning of all park holiday homes/lodges. Your expertise and trade skills will allow you to successfully work alongside our teams, whilst being responsible for daily planning/organisation and communication of your area. Your role will also include Park projects, using your experience and knowledge when required. Working hours are approximately 35-40 hours per week, year round with any travel to our Sister Parks paid.
- Responsible for the safe siting/moving, connection and commissioning of caravan holiday homes and lodges - outdoor and physical role
- Using your trade skills and experience to ensure accuracy of work with a focus on health and safety requirements and company procedures
- Working collaboratively with the Park team and departments to ensure a high standard of completion and offering a positive guest experience,
- Ability to plan, organise, set and achieve realistic deadlines,
- Great communication and effective prioritisation to work effectively on your own and with the wider Wood Leisure teams,
- Maintain accurate records of activities/repairs/connections completed and logged via company software and communication via email/teams etc
- Performing regular maintenance and repairs on park facilities, grounds, accommodation, vehicles and equipment when required.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge and experience of trade skills in previous maintenance roles
- A competent understanding of electrics, plumbing, civils (or one as a main strength)
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within the workplace
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented with a pleasant and positive demeanour
- Working as part of a team but ability to also work on own initiative
- Ability to travel to sister Parks if required to assist with projects
- Clean driving license.

Pay: £13.80-£14.80 per hour
