Full job description

The Expeditor will monitor and follow up on deliveries in line with agreed dates as set by the internal sales team. The job holder will ensure that products or information arrives at the right time and this is communicated effectively to all parties involved.

Provide shipping details and readiness of goods to customers and keep the sales team informed of developments.

Continually communicate with suppliers/manufacturers in order to ensure that delivery will be possible on the pre-determined date.

Acknowledge and appropriately greet and assist every customer in a timely manner.

Monitor and evaluate order acknowledgements.

Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with excellent customer service/communication skills.

Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution, escalating promptly any issues beyond standard resolution.

Participate proactively in regular sales team meetings and 1-2-1 meetings.

Other duties as assigned by Management.
