Duties

Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Serve customers efficiently at the counter or takeaway window, taking orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including kitchen areas and serving counters.
Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and provide receipts while maintaining excellent customer service.
Promote menu items through friendly upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and preparing ingredients for daily service.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or cafe environment.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Kitchen experience or culinary background is highly desirable.
Effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality.
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
