The Place

The Position:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as seasonal bar staff, on a full-time basis. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable time at Plockton Inn. The season runs to the end of October however, there may be an opportunity to extend based on business demand.

In this guest-facing role you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering beverages and liaising with the F&B team to ensure guests receive a high-level of service.

Duties include setting up the bar area before service, maintaining high-levels of cleanliness in and around the bar area, stock management and ordering.

The role offers flexible shift patterns covering lunch and dinner service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to work in a dynamic and vibrant environment.

The Person:

Beyond the first-class physical modelling of our hotels, we’re also investing in our people. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Display effective communication guests with guests as well as your team to ensure a high-level of guest service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Have a passion and knowledge for current drink trends.
