Vertu Honda Plymouth
We are looking for a Sales Executive, whether you’re experienced in automotive sales or completely new to the industry, to join the team at Vertu Honda Plymouth.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of £27,000, with on‑target earnings (OTE) of £45,000 and uncapped commission, meaning top performers can earn up to £60,000.
Whether you’re an established Sales Executive or looking to start a new career in automotive sales, you’ll receive exceptional support, structured training, and ongoing development to help you succeed and maximise your earning potential. If you have talent, energy, drive, character and the right attitude we want to hear from you.
We’re proud to offer genuine work–life balance:
- 40‑hour working week (five 8‑hour shifts)
- Most Saturdays worked (our busiest sales day)
- A guaranteed weekday off every week
- Sundays off, giving you a consistent day to rest and recharge
As a Sales Executive, you’ll represent Honda, a prestigious automotive brand known for quality and innovation, delivering a premium customer experience at every stage.
You’ll guide customers through a seamless and enjoyable car‑buying journey — from first enquiry to final handover — taking ownership of the end‑to‑end experience and ensuring every customer leaves confident and satisfied.
You don’t need automotive sales experience to be successful with us. You’ll benefit from:
- A full induction and onboarding programme
- Ongoing coaching and support from experienced leaders
- Continuous development and clear career progression opportunities
We are proud to be the motor retailer that invests more in colleague development than any other, providing you with the tools, training, and support needed to build a long‑term career with us.
- Experienced or non‑experienced candidates welcome
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivation, drive, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Full UK driving licence (manual and automatic)

To protect our customers and our reputation, you will be required to complete a DBS check, along with regular fit and proper person assessments. We will also request references from previous employers as part of our pre-employment checks.
