The Role
We're seeking a talented and organised Digital Marketing Assistant to work closely with our PPC Manager to create, manage, optimise and report on paid advertising campaigns for clients across the UK. You'll be a key part of our digital marketing team, helping our clients achieve their business goals through strategic paid advertising across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the PPC Manager to create, manage, optimise and report on PPC campaigns across the following platforms:
- Google Ads
- Google Local Service Ads
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- LinkedIn Ads
Campaign management tasks will include:
- Keyword research and competitor analysis
- Writing compelling ad copy
- Sourcing and creating images for ad campaigns
- Client liaison and communication
- Campaign optimisation and troubleshooting
- Performance reporting and analysis
In addition, the role could involve other digital marketing duties to include:
- SEO tasks
- Social Media tasks
- General digital marketing tasks
Skills and Experience
For this role, we are happy to consider candidates with varying levels of experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience managing PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of paid advertising best practices and campaign optimisation
- Experience with keyword research and competitor analysis
- Excellent written communication skills (essential for ad copy)
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and campaign reporting tools
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience with design software or basic image editing (Canva, Adobe suite, etc.)
- Knowledge of SEO and how PPC integrates with broader digital marketing strategy
- Experience managing budgets and ROI optimisation
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
- Experience working with business clients and understanding their needs

The salary will be competitive and will depend on your experience. This role is based in our Plymouth office.
