Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer/Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently while assisting with warehouse tasks. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Previous delivery driver experience and commercial driving qualifications are highly desirable.

Duties

Safely operate company van to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy or bulky products
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and according to schedule
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area
Assist with warehouse organisation, stock management, and general duties as required
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
Follow all health and safety regulations during driving and warehouse activities

Requirements

Proven delivery driver experience, ideally within a commercial setting
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience in warehouse operations or similar environments is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Good organisational skills with an organised approach to tasks
Physical fitness to handle demanding manual tasks throughout the day
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
