Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fencing Supervisor / Operative to lead fencing projects and execute fencing installations with precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee on-site operations, coordinate team efforts, and ensure the successful completion of fencing works across diverse projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Supervise fencing installation teams, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times
Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently to maximize productivity
Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools for cutting, fixing, and assembling fencing materials
Oversee the use of fabrication equipment for custom fencing solutions when needed
Assist with on-site carpentry, masonry, roofing, or other construction tasks as required
Maintain accurate project records, including progress reports and safety documentation
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

Ideally a valid CSCS card.
Full driving licence.
Proven experience in fencing installation or related construction trades such as carpentry.
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding, fabrication techniques, and construction painting
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and suppliers
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Good understanding of Health & Safety Regulations.
Physical fitness to handle demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory
