The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that all manufactured products meet the highest quality standards, supporting both internal processes and customer expectations.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll be involved in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement activities that directly impact product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Raise and manage non-conformances, ensuring effective communication and resolution
- Support root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
- Assist with ISIR and CPK analysis to verify product capability
- Contribute to the investigation of customer complaints related to quality issues
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in line with risk assessments
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. To succeed, you will bring:
- HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline
- Demonstrable experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with quality standards (e.g. ISO / EN)
- Knowledge of measurement systems and capability analysis (CPK / ISIR)
- Quality auditing qualification (e.g. ISO 9001:2015 is desirable
- Experience using measurement equipment such as CMM would be advantageous
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
