Accounts & Administration Assistant (Part-Time)

We are a well-established leading supplier of concrete, asphalt and aggregate, related products and services in Devon and Cornwall, seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking for a flexible part-time role within a modern, supportive office environment.

The Role

Working as part of our busy office team, you will be involved in a variety of accounting and administrative duties that help keep our business running smoothly.

Responsibilities may include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices
Maintaining customer and supplier accounts
Credit control and payment monitoring
Assisting with month-end procedures
Preparing and updating spreadsheets and reports
General office administration and record keeping
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in a professional manner
Using our Modern Construction Fully Integrated Accounting System to manage financial and project-related information

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration experience
Be confident using Microsoft Excel and Word
Have good numerical and organisational skills
Be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
