Job Summary
Lockabox is seeking a proactive, commercially-minded Business Sales Executive to support our growing business-to-business sales department.
This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, confident in communication, and comfortable building relationships with a variety of customers and across a range of platforms.
You will drive our business sales development, grow existing accounts, identify new growth opportunities, and support the broader sales strategy. Working closely with all other departments, you will help ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience and directly contribute to revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Proactively target new sales opportunities, respond to inbound sales enquiries from a range of sources, and service all customer requirements.
- Maintain strong sales conversion rates across existing channels to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing B2B customers, key accounts, and identify areas for expansion.
- Report weekly on the B2B pipeline and customer status.
- Work with the B2B marketing team to refine lead generation strategies.
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers through consistent communication and reliability.
- Represent Lockabox at events, such as trade shows and meet-the-buyer events.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous sales experience essential; desirable: sales within a medical device/home products category.
- Prior CRM experience is valuable (Hubspot) - not essential, as long as you’re tech-literate.
- Desire to work in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness & ability to travel to customers/events where required.
- Confident communicator — phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Proactive and consistent.
- Comfortable taking initiative and working independently, as well as collaboratively in a small team.
- Fun and friendly approach (able to have a laugh!).
- Must be willing to commute to Kingsbridge, Devon - fully remote is not an option.
Key details:
- Starting Salary: £33,000 per annum.
- Type: Full-time.
- Standard Hours: 0830-1630 Mon-Thurs (30min lunch) & 0830-1200 Friday. Flexibility can be discussed.
- Location: Lockabox HQ, Unit 1 Duke Street Chambers, Bridge Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1HX, Devon.
- Start Date: ASAP
