The Role
Accountable to the department Manager and Director, this role will provide all customers with exceptional service on the phone, in person and online by providing real-time using the Vospers Website and other operational tools.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Provide a friendly, and professional welcome to all telephone, walk-in and online customers.
- Identify the customers’ needs and direct them to the relevant area of the business on the phone and online, including via Vospers website chat.
- Working with accuracy, you will be interacting with customers online, answering queries promptly and professionally, which will demonstrate your excellent computer, literacy and typing skills.
- Answer, qualify and announce calls to individuals and departments in a prompt, professional, friendly, and helpful manner, taking and forwarding messages as appropriate.
- Assign website enquiries and leads to the relevant Sales departments and forwarding on after-sales leads to the Service and Parts departments following up when necessary.
- Taking ownership of Customer Service enquiries, resolving issues when appropriate and ensuring correct escalation when required.
- Be a point of contact for post and parcel deliveries and inform departments of any visitors’ arrival, signing in guests when applicable and assisting with marketing campaigns.
General Activity
- Keep up to date with all Vospers products and comparable product ranges of Vospers competitors.
- Work with your Line Manager and Senior Management Team in discussing the needs of Vospers and the rest of the team.
- Work with your Line Manager and Senior Management Team following all processes and procedures that are in place.
- Attending team meetings with a positive approach.
- Help to promote and provide a positive working environment for all, encapsulating the Vospers Employee Core Values and Mission Statement.
- Develop both your own, your team and Company knowledge through attending various training opportunities.
- Ensure security processes are adhered to, within the department and Company premises. (Relevant training provided).
- Constantly review all areas of responsibility and discuss any ideas for future improvement.
- Interact with other team members in and outside of your department to promote the Vospers culture.
- Maintain a professional standard of dress to portray a professional image of the company.
- Maintain safe working practice and abide by all working rules set out on site.
- Undertake any other relevant duties required by your Line Manager to meet the needs of the Business.

£26,436.80 per annum
Hours
40 Hours Per Week (or two part-time positions)
The department will be open 6 days a week with opening hours of 8-6 during the week, 8-5 on a Saturday. Your actual working hours will be discussed during the interview stage.
This role will require you to work in the department office and Reception area, with the opportunity for occasional remote working following the successful completion of the probationary period.
