We are looking for a Research Fellow with PhD qualifications, with experience of conducting qualitative research particularly using a realist approach, with strong organisational and paper writing skills.
About the role:
You will work with a research team on a NIHR funded study investigating the career progression of international medical graduates (IMGs) using a realist approach (SUP IMG Study, NIHR 163631).
You will be responsible for:
- conducting qualitative data collection and analysis.
- reporting findings for peer-review publication.
This is a part-time post working 14.8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until June 2028 due to funding.
You will be:
- Keen to work in a supportive context that will enable them to achieve change in the development of the healthcare workforce, and take the next step in your career
- Actively supported to develop your own research career whilst working with us.
For this role, you will need to be on site 1 days a week. Although we can accommodate hybrid working, flexibility to be on-site will be expected depending on business needs.
You may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.
