We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing architectural concepts, ensuring functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing structures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, from residential to commercial developments, in a collaborative environment that values creativity and technical expertise. The Architect will play a key role in translating client needs into practical and inspiring designs, adhering to regulatory standards and environmental considerations.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs and plans using specialised software and manual drafting techniques.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to refine project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for planning applications and construction purposes.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Oversee the selection of materials and finishes that align with sustainability goals and budget constraints.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Present design concepts effectively to clients through visualisations, models, or presentations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Architect with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse project involvement.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programmes.
- Excellent understanding of building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental legislation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Creative problem-solving abilities coupled with technical expertise in structural considerations.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and innovative construction methods is desirable.

Pay: £29,164.59-£59,039.84 per year
