Bond International is the largest independent tyre wholesaler and one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK.

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Office based team at Head Office in Pocklington.

Job Purpose:

Manage the Company’s debts and mitigate un-necessary risk

Key Responsibilities:

¨ Reviewing debtor list on a daily basis.

¨ Sharing debtor list with Telesales Agents on 10th of the month, including commentary on status of accounts, and those accounts who may go on stop due to non-payment on 16th month.

¨ Sharing debtor list with Telesales Agents on 16th month displaying all those accounts who are on stop due to non-payment.

¨ Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days.

¨ Processing and generating reminder letters, producing ledger statements.

¨ Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries.

¨ Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle.

¨ Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations

¨ Taking card payments.

¨ Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.

¨ Any other ad hoc duties as required

Role requirements:

· Some previous experience of working in an office-based environment, preferably in a finance or Customer Service department with exposure to credit control.

· GSCE English & Maths.

· Good attention to detail.

· Strong analytical skills.

· The ability to work to strict deadlines.

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

· Great organisational skills.

· This position would suit an individual who is driven by results.

Hours:-

Monday – Friday Rota - 08.30 – 17.00; 09.00 – 17.30 & 09.30am – 18.00pm

30 minutes for lunch

Total 40 hours per week – No hybrid

Salary:- £28,200 per year

Note: The Company reserves the right to vary or amend the duties and responsibilities of the post holder at any time, after consultation with post holder, according to the needs of the Company’s business.
