Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (8am-4pm / 8.30am – 4.30pm / 9am -5pm) No weekends required

Fleet Operations Assistant
The Role
As a Fleet Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet. You’ll be responsible for coordinating service, maintenance and repairs, as well as supporting the logistics of vehicle deliveries and collections. Working closely with the fleet team, you’ll help ensure all operational tasks are completed in line with company SLAs.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining office-based administration with on-site vehicle inspections and customer interaction, full training provided
Key Responsibilities
- Appraise vehicles upon customer collection and return
- Audit vehicle inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Update and maintain internal computer systems
- Arrange servicing and repairs with approved suppliers and provide progress updates
- Liaise with customers to resolve breakdown and vehicle-related queries
- Capture, upload and manage vehicle images
- Conduct monthly mileage updates with customers
- Assist with planning and organising daily and next-day vehicle logistics
- Support general fleet administration as required
Skills & Experience
- A positive, proactive team player who can also work independently
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to use initiative, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven customer service experience (phone and face-to-face)
- Previous fleet administration experience is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence required
