Hours:
Monday - Friday: core office hours
Salary:
This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £49,000 - £51,195 per annum
Location:
Regional role to support two of the four regions within our Non Custodial service.

As our new Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
- Liaise and consult with other Speech and Language Therapists and/or other professions and agencies within mainstream primary and secondary provider services
- To prioritise, organise and manage a highly complex referrals on the basis of risk
- To undertake comprehensive assessment of adults referred using investigative and analytic skills and to formulate individualised interventions based on advanced clinical reasoning and partnership working
- To provide highly specialist report and recommendations to the Police and Court Services
- To provide clinical training, supervision and support to assistants, generic workers and volunteers and others as agreed with the regional and local managers.
- To work within the service multidisciplinary team advising on the management of specific Speech and Language Therapy related clinical issues, to collaborate in the development and co-ordination of team objectives and in the development of care pathways and care protocols related to the specialist area.

Qualifications and skills required:
- Recognised SALT degree
- Registered with the HPCP
- Registered with RCSLT
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- The post holder will need a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience.
- Experience of working with service users, face to face, with a variety of health needs.
- Experience of training other professionals
