Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features when necessary
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or card payments
- Manage stock levels, organise stockrooms, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and tidy
- Offer excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist with organising promotional events or seasonal displays
- Ensure the store remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
Skills
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage stock and display arrangements
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to create visually appealing displays
- Professional phone etiquette for remote customer interactions
