Head Chef – The Gregory Arms, Harlaxton An Exciting Opportunity to Lead the Kitchen at a Growing Destination Venue

The Gregory Arms, Harlaxton is looking for an ambitious, talented, and driven Head Chef to take the reins of our kitchen and help shape the future of this much-loved village inn.

This is more than just a Head Chef role – it's an opportunity to create something special. We are looking for a chef with vision, passion, and leadership who can transform The Gregory Arms into a true food destination, attracting diners from across Lincolnshire and beyond while enhancing the experience for guests staying in our five beautifully appointed letting rooms.

Nestled in the heart of Harlaxton, The Gregory Arms combines traditional hospitality with modern dining. With a growing reputation, five letting rooms, and a commitment to quality, we are investing in becoming one of the region's most sought-after dining destinations.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead and inspire the kitchen team.
Design and develop seasonal menus that showcase the very best local produce.
Build strong relationships with local farmers, growers, and suppliers.
Deliver exceptional food quality and consistency.
Drive creativity and innovation while maintaining strong commercial awareness.
Manage food costs, stock control, and kitchen operations.
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Work closely with the management team to establish The Gregory Arms as a recognised dining destination.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Head Chef or ambitious Sous Chef ready for the next step.
A genuine passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and financial management abilities.
A desire to build a reputation for outstanding food and hospitality.
