Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional 3.5t Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all road safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth operation of our removal and storage services.

Duties

Safely operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle for daily deliveries across designated routes
Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Assist with warehouse duties when required, including stock organisation and heavy lifting tasks

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, particularly with 3.5t vehicles or similar size lorries
Knowledge of traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and best practices for safe driving
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when loading or unloading goods
Strong organisational skills to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Previous removal experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to assist with warehouse tasks is preferred

Pay: £28,600.00-£31,200.00 per year
