Permanent, part time, 30 hours per week.

Lord Hardy Court is a residential care unit based in Rawmarsh. This is a 60 bedded unit delivering three services, dementia care, Learning disability care and Hospital Avoidance Beds.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, helping our residents in our lovely home from home environment.

The successful candidate will have/be:-

Experience/understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals and how to best meet those needs
The ability to demonstrate excellent and clear communication skills, demonstrate empathy and be able to listen and to understand and support individual circumstances and needs
A practical person and ability to identify and solve day to day problems
An understanding of Safeguarding
An understanding of Health and Safety, the safe handling of medications and a good basic first aid knowledge
A qualification as an Activities Professional which is recognised by an accredited organisation, ie NAPA OR the willingness to obtain a qualification.

Or evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience.
