Please provide a cover letter and CV when applying for this role.
Due to all three sites in the Tamar Valley property group being rural, having your own transport is essential.
What it's like to work here:Cotehele is a beautiful Tudor mansion is situated high above the River Tamar, with Dartmoor National Park and many unspoilt beaches nearby. The property is brimming with character, and is home to many colourful tapestries, armours and artefacts. The team pride themselves on providing superb customer service, and the family atmosphere amongst the 65-member team makes Cotehele a very special place to work.
Antony is a spectacular house of silver grey stone, it is a beguiling mixture of the formal and informal. It's believed to be one of the finest surviving Queen Anne buildings in the West Country. With an outstanding collection of portraits, including works by Sir Joshua Reynolds and a famous painting of Charles I during his trial. There are also fine examples of period furniture, textiles and tapestries within the house. The Carew-Pole family still reside at Antony.
What you'll be doing:At Buckland Abbey you follow over 700 years of footsteps; from the Cistercians who built the Abbey and farmed the estate, to seafarers Grenville and Drake who changed the shape of the house and the fate of the country.
The Abbey is part museum, part house, and filled with treasures. There’s no mistaking the magnificence of the medieval Great Barn, originally a tithe barn which has remained virtually unchanged since it was built all those centuries ago.
