Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Services Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital environments to utilise their skills in a dynamic hospitality setting. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house facilities in accordance with hotel standards
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including infection control procedures in hospital or healthcare-related areas
Maintain equipment and cleaning tools in good working order
Follow specific protocols for sanitisation and disinfection, especially in sensitive environments like hospitals or healthcare facilities

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital environment is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
Good organisational skills and time management abilities
Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and priorities as required
