Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious grilled dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to meet our quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and culinary expertise.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality
Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding areas throughout the shift
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders
Serve dishes with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially grilling methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work
